Biz Khan
While the rest of the site is about you, this page is about me. So I will keep things short (hopefully). It does not require a genius to tell that Biz Khan is a pen name for someone more real. Someone called Ebrahym who loves to travel but otherwise stays in Islamabad. No, don’t go for the map yet - it is a beautiful place in a land called Pakistan. He is a creature of the online world and has been working online since 1997. In his long online years, he has ventured into various online businesses ranging from online job boards (big money makers) to ecommerce ventures and marketplaces (big money makers again) to blogs like this one (can’t say yet). There have been many failures along the way but some big successes have made it all worthwhile. Having seen it all, Biz Khan now consults and helps other people achieve their goals online (another passion of his). He even does joint ventures with people to help them (and himself) reach their goals earlier, if not easier.
So, what does he do with all the money? He blows it on making experimental films. He buys cameras, lights and editing equipment. Spends on production. His last experiment was a 75 minute silent film that won him rave reviews from critics and from the national television channel that aired it.
Biz Khan loves to do business online and earn money, but he also loves to see how he can communicate using more than just the spoken word. Communication is one of his passions, whether it is in the form of web writing or in the form of moving pictures that speak volumes.
So why the pen name? Someone once called me the Khan of Online business (That’s because he wanted me to help him launch his idea. Flattery almost always works with me, so I did help him). The name kinda appealed to me and stuck.
